501c3 status and writing for the Santa Barbara Examiner...

Some exciting things are happening  around Cause for Action. Not only are we getting closer to filing our for 501c3 status, but we’re also rounding up an interesting array of individuals for our Board of Directors. From former soap opera stars, to video directors, to professional photographers…our board will have the perfect mix of media talent to catapult Cause for Action into the non-profit world. Another exciting development is that our Executive Producer, Samara Iodice, has started freelance writing for the Santa Barbara Examiner as their Philanthropy Examiner.  Samara’s first two columns in the Examiner, garnered over 700 clicks in three days, and earned her the number one spot of all Santa Barbara examiners for the recent week. But even more exciting, she received a kind mention by the fantastic people at The Tipping Bucket,  after she wrote about their incredible organization that encourages donations of only $1 to tip the bucket for a good cause.
