Compassion is in Fashion...

Cause for Action is extremely happy to announce that planning for October’s entertainment extravaganza, Compassion is in Fashion, is well underway! This event promises to be a night of sheer enjoyment for the entire family, but even more important -  a night of hope for shelter and foster dogs, and their temporary caretakers, throughout Ventura County, California. The evening will begin with a silent auction, comedy improv, a magic show, dog tricks, and a multimedia program to spread awareness of the homeless pet population, both locally, and on a global scale. It will culminate in the final grand finale fashion show where several, yet to be announced, “Model Citizens”  walk down the catwalk with a variety of adoptable  and desirable canines. The goal of the Compassion is in Fashion event is three-fold: to raise money for local adoption programs through the silent auction, donations, and ticket sales;  to provide information on issues of canine homelessness and adoption education, and; to find homes for dozens of affectionate and devoted canines. So, keep an eye on the Cause for Action blog over the coming months, as we hone in on specifics like date, time, and location.
